Overview
What this involves
Online banking fraud takes many forms: a fraudster tricking you into an authorised transfer (APP scam), taking over your account through phishing, or a purchase that never arrives after you paid by bank transfer. Each has different recovery levers.
Where money is sent by bank transfer, speed matters. Funds move quickly through multiple accounts to be withdrawn or converted. Early action can sometimes trigger banking recall and fraud-reporting processes before the money disperses.
We help you navigate your bank's fraud claim, prepare the evidence that regulators and ombuds services expect, and pursue the receiving parties where they can be identified - including through the account-holder and payment-rail investigation.
Our team also advises on protecting your accounts going forward, so the same route cannot be used against you again.

FAQ
Common questions
Will my bank refund a scam transfer?
It depends on the circumstances, including the type of fraud and whether your bank met its own duties. In some cases reimbursement is required; in others the fraudster's receiving account must be pursued. We help present the strongest claim either way.
I authorised the payment myself - is it too late?
Not necessarily. Authorised transactions can still be recoverable, particularly when you were deceived, and can support a bank claim or legal action against the recipient.
How fast should I act?
As soon as possible. Funds sent by transfer can be moved on within hours, so early escalation sharply improves the chance of a recall.
Can you investigate who received my money?
We investigate receiving accounts and mule networks, and coordinate with banks and, where appropriate, law enforcement to identify those behind them.
Do I still need to report to the police?
Reporting helps the record, and we prepare your evidence for it. We also handle the practical recovery work so you are not left to navigate the process alone.
